ThreadMemo ("T-Memo", "the App") is designed with an offline-first architecture, storing bookmarked content locally on your device in SQLite without server transmission unless cloud sync is enabled.
1. Information We Collect
Locally Stored Data
The following data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers unless you explicitly enable cloud sync:
- Bookmarked URLs, titles, and annotations
- Tags, categories, and organizational preferences
- App settings and preferences
Usage Data
We collect non-personally identifiable data to improve the app:
- App usage patterns and feature interactions
- Device type and operating system version
- Crash reports and performance data
Advertising Data
For the free version with ads, we may collect:
- Advertising identifiers (IDFA on iOS, AAID on Android)
- Device information and app usage patterns

On iOS 14.5+, we request your permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework before accessing the IDFA. Premium subscribers do not see ads and this data is not collected.

- Provide and maintain the service
- Improve app performance and user experience
- Manage subscriptions and in-app purchases
- Send service-related notifications

4. Data Storage and Security
Your bookmarks and notes are primarily stored locally on your device. If you enable cloud sync, your data is stored securely using Firebase with industry-standard encryption. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect against unauthorized access.
